Integrating FullSession with Zapier

This article states the steps needed to integrate FullSession site with Zapier

Updated today

This guide outlines the steps for integrating FullSession with Zapier to automate your workflows and connect FullSession data with 5,000+ apps. The FullSession-Zapier integration provides two powerful triggers that enable you to automatically send session data and user trend alerts to your favorite tools, streamlining your workflow without manual data transfers.

The two available triggers are:

  1. Session Converted - Triggers when a user completes a specific funnel, sending session data to Zapier

  2. User Trend Alert Received - Triggers when a user trend alert meets its threshold, sending alert and metric data to Zapier

By integrating FullSession with Zapier, you can:

  • Automate actions when users convert - Send session data to your CRM, send notifications, or trigger follow-up workflows

  • Get alerted on user trend changes - Monitor your user metrics and automatically respond when thresholds are met

  • Connect with 5,000+ apps - Integrate FullSession with your entire tech stack

  • Eliminate manual data entry and focus on what matters

Upon completing this tutorial, you'll be able to create automated workflows (Zaps) that trigger actions in other apps whenever these two events occur in FullSession.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

  • A FullSession account with an active site

  • A Zapier account (free or paid)

For Session Converted trigger:

  • At least one funnel configured in FullSession

For User Trend Alert trigger:

  • At least one user trend alert set up with specific segment, aggregation period, and threshold

What Can You Do with FullSession + Zapier?

The FullSession-Zapier integration provides two powerful triggers that you can use to automate your workflows:

1. Session Converted

This trigger fires when a user completes a conversion on a specific funnel you've configured in FullSession. When triggered, FullSession sends the complete session data to Zapier, including:

  • User identification (name, email, UUID)

  • Traffic source data (UTM parameters, GCLID)

  • Session metadata (browser, device, OS, location)

  • Referrer information and session start time

Use this trigger when: You want to automate actions based on specific user conversions (e.g., signup, purchase, form submission).

2. User Trend Alert Received

This trigger fires when a user trend alert you've configured meets its threshold conditions. These alerts are set on specific segments in your User Trends chart with your chosen configurations (daily, weekly, or monthly aggregation) and threshold values. When triggered, FullSession sends information about the alert and the user trend metrics that met the threshold, including:

  • Alert details and configuration (threshold, operator, aggregation type)

  • Current metric value vs. previous period value

  • Site and segment information

  • When the alert was triggered

Use this trigger when: You want to be notified or take automated actions when user metrics change significantly (e.g., traffic drops, engagement spikes).
